Eagle Lake Community Baseball
Eagle Lake Baseball’s existence spans over 60 years. Eagle Lake was once associated with the Dixie Youth Baseball organization, but later moved to the Cal Ripken association where it continues to thrive and grow.
Eagle Lake Baseball has had many accolades throughout the years, providing a baseball fundamental foundation for such players such as Trey Mancini, Jacob Newberry, Ronnie Richardson and Justin Shafer, all who played at the park. The park has been honored to have former Atlanta Braves outfielder Matt Diaz support the league as a past league president. Continuing the legacy of having high quality coaches and instructors, former Florida State University baseball standout Dennis Guinn, still coaches and is very much involved in the park today.
Eagle Lake Baseball is proud to have produced some some of the best teams in the country, including the most recent 2021 10u Cal Ripken State Champions, who also finished 4th in the Cal Ripken World Series. Some notable coaches who have left their mark on Eagle Lake Baseball include Sam Bragg, Dennis Pate, and Snap Blackburn.
The park has always been a volunteer organization and the players, coaches and parents are the absolute backbone to the community. The legacy of Eagle Lake Baseball continues under the guidance of league president Jake Wren, who has brought the idea of more community involvement as well as focusing on player development.
